What is server colocation?
Server colocation (shared co-location) keeps hardware ownership with you. You place your server in our Istanbul Başakşehir Tier 3 data center; power, cooling, network, IP, physical security and DDoS protection come from SistemDC.

How many amps does my server draw?
A common mistake is sizing from nameplate rating. Nameplate is maximum PSU capability; real draw is often under half. Measure under your load via IPMI or PDU.

Ranges are typical; exact figures depend on your hardware. Share measurements and we will confirm the right tier.
- Treat 1 A as 220 W. Starter, Business and ATX include 1 A / 220 W; Advanced (4U) includes 2 A / 440 W. Higher tiers (3 A / 660 W, 4 A / 880 W) are add-ons.
- Size for peak, not average. Spin-up spikes trip breakers more often than steady load.
- Do not run continuous load at 100% of circuit capacity. Keep continuous load around 80% of circuit rating.
- Redundant PSUs mean dual feeds. Total draw is unchanged, but both A and B feeds must be powered.
- Upgradeable after measurement. Raise the tier after go-live - no prepaid lock-in.

Can you announce your own IP block?
Yes. SistemDC operates ASN AS211804 as a RIPE NCC member and LIR. Enterprise customers can run BGP with their ASN and announce their PI blocks from our network (BYOIP). Without an ASN, IP transit and block rental are available.
BYOIP needs three things: your ASN, a RIPE-assigned IP block, and an LOA authorizing us to announce it. Route objects (route, route6, AS-SET) must be current - we help complete gaps.
