Server Colocation in Istanbul and Ankara — 1U, 2U, 4U and ATX

Server colocation (shared co-location) means placing your own physical server in our data center. Hardware ownership, the operating system, licenses and data stay fully with you; power, cooling, network, IP addressing, physical security and continuous monitoring are our responsibility. Your server occupies 1U–4U in a shared rack or a dedicated ATX shelf at our Istanbul or Ankara facility. The key difference from a rented dedicated server is that you keep the hardware investment and control.

We offer server colocation in our data centers in Istanbul and Ankara, built to Tier 3 standards (N+1 power and cooling, concurrently maintainable). Choose the location in the quote form; the same contract, SLA and support team apply in both. Measure latency and routing yourself on Looking Glass.

Choose the site closest to your users: Istanbul for Marmara and Europe-facing traffic; Ankara for public sector, enterprises and Central Anatolia users. We offer 1U, 2U and 4U shared rack plus a dedicated ATX shelf package. One U is the standard 19-inch-wide, 4.45 cm-high rack unit; a typical web server needs 1U, multi-disk storage often 2U–4U. Confirm your chassis height with our rack unit guide. Above 4U or for a private cabinet, cabinet rental (10U–42U) is usually more economical.

Yes. Free KVM provides BIOS-level remote access for OS installs, recovery and reboots. When physical intervention is needed, our NOC is reachable around the clock with a 30-minute response target. Tier III means power and cooling paths support concurrent maintainability: service stays up while a component is maintained or a single feed fails. In practice this means N+1 UPS, generators, cooling and multiple distribution paths. Our Istanbul and Ankara facilities are operated to this standard with N+1 UPS, generators and cooling; SistemDC provides colocation there.

Plans include 10 TB monthly traffic and a 1 Gbit/s uplink; symmetric lines from 100 Mbps to 10 Gbps (download = upload) and a 10 Gbit/s port are available as add-ons. Volume-based basic L3/L4/L7 DDoS filtering is built into the infrastructure at no extra charge. If you need guaranteed clean traffic during an attack, a premium package with 500 Mbit clean capacity per prefix can be added to your quote.

Server colocation is for 1U–4U shared rack (and the ATX shelf): you share the cabinet and power is billed in fixed amp tiers. Cabinet rental offers 10U–42U private cabinets with metered kWh power. Facility access uses biometric verification and a registered visitor process; corridors are monitored by continuous CCTV with retained footage. Rack areas are locked. Fire protection includes VESDA early smoke detection and gas suppression. Keeping data in Turkey also supports KVKK compliance. For stronger isolation, see the private cage option.

Yes. Our NOC is reachable every hour via ticket, phone and emergency lines. Physical response target is 30 minutes. Plans include Self Management by default (reset and KVM). For OS installs, priority support and routine software care, Full Management can be added to your quote and enabled after service start.

Starter, Business and ATX include 1 Amp (220W); Advanced includes 2 Amp (440W). 3 A (660W) and 4 A (880W) are add-ons. Size power from real load, not nameplate: a single-CPU 1U often draws 120–200W; a dual-CPU database server 250–400W. After go-live you can measure and upgrade the tier — no prepaid lock-in.

Ship by courier or hand-deliver by appointment. Servers are racked the same day or next business day; power and network are connected, an IP is assigned and access details are sent to you. Always include rail kits and power cables. Moving a live server? Follow our migration checklist.

Yes — on the ATX package. Shared 19-inch racks accept rackmount chassis only. Tower / ATX cases use our dedicated ATX shelf package (10 TB traffic and 1 A / 220 W included). We place ATX hardware there; towers are not accepted in the shared rack.

Yes. SistemDC operates ASN AS211804 as a RIPE NCC member and LIR. With your own ASN you can establish BGP and announce your RIPE PI block from our infrastructure (BYOIP) with a valid LOA and current route objects. Without an ASN you can rent blocks from /29 to /24. You manage rDNS (PTR) yourself.

Quotes are prepared excluding VAT; 20% VAT is added on the invoice. Setup is free. USD-priced items (10 Gbit/s uplink, extra IPv4 blocks, premium DDoS) are stated separately in your quote and charged in TL at the current rate at payment. Power, traffic and management upgrades are billed monthly and can change after go-live.

Yes. Authorized staff can visit by appointment; biometric verification and visitor registration apply. For trips you can avoid, Remote Hands is usually faster: 1 free hour/month and a 30-minute response target. If only your team should reach the hardware area, consider a private cage.

We commit to 99.8% monthly availability for network and power. If we fall short, 10% (99.8–99.5%), 25% (99.5–99.0%) or 50% (below 99.0%) of that month’s fee is credited to your next invoice. Planned maintenance announced 48 hours ahead and customer-equipment issues are excluded.
