Comparing quotes for rack rental is harder than it looks at first. One provider includes power in the plan, another meters it per kWh; one charges a setup fee, another does not. In the end the real difference between two quotes lies not in the rack price but in the power billing model used. In this guide we calculate 2026 rack rental prices, the real cost per U and the total monthly expense including power, with example scenarios.

Setup is free in all plans, a /29 IPv4 subnet is included, BGP routing is supported and placement is in a cold-aisle containment area. The rack price is fixed; the bill is not. In the metered model the amount you pay depends on the power your hardware draws. The formula is simple:
720 hours are used for a 30-day month. The monthly equivalent of common power levels:

The calculations below combine the rack fee with power. The per-server power figures are typical for moderately loaded 1U systems; you should take your own hardware's actual consumption from PDU measurements.

Renting a rack for a small number of servers is an unnecessary cost. In shared rack plans, power is included in the price:

The deciding factor is the power budget. Shared plans have a ceiling of 220W–440W. If your hardware draws more than that, the plan is not enough even if the space is; you need to move to the metered-power rack model.
What do rack rental prices depend on?
Three variables are decisive: rack space (U), the committed power capacity and the uplink speed. Space is charged at a fixed rate; power is metered by consumption.
What is the lowest rack price?
The 10U rack is the entry level at 10,000₺/mo. For needs below that, shared rack plans starting from 4,500₺/mo are used.
What do I gain with annual payment?
The annual amount is twelve times the monthly one; the gain is the price being fixed for a year and one-off bookkeeping.
Is there a refund if U is left empty in the rack?
No, rack space is allocated as a whole. That is why choosing the right size matters; the U calculation guide can be used for planning.
I have no hardware of my own — does it still make sense?
